Holy Cross Medical Group - Gastroenterology

I am being refused due to 5 alleged cancelations which I dispute. I have cancelled 3 appointments and no showed for 1. Shame on me. These date back 2 years ago in 2023. Problem is acid reflux which causes episodes of painful hiccups which lasts for days up to weeks. When I called to be seen in the past, they schedule me out weeks and even months later, even when I insisted on being seen urgently on my behalf. When appointments come up, I'm sorry, but I am not in need, and have a job that is difficult to miss work at. I called last week during an episode, which I am having right now. I was scheduled with a provider the next morning and was denied by Sherri, the office manager. Then the scheduler got back on the phone and said they actually wouldn't see me because of previous cancelations

F. Shepherd, Nurse practitioner was extremely professional, helpful, and listened to my needs. I really recommend seeing her she was informative and kind. You can tell she really cares about her patients.

Dr Bashir is very rude. Walked in, did not even say hi. He started colonoscopy before anesthesia was given! That was painful, had to tell him. He made some negative remarks and believe he was referring to me. Find a different Dr. Stay away from here...

I was a patient of Dr. Bashir and the doctor himself was not terrible. The times I spoke with him (which was twice over a six month period) was pleasant. However, the office staff is atrocious. It took 4 months of going back and forth to finally get my hep c medication because of how unorganized they are. They sent me for blood work 4 or 5 separate times which I had to pay 50$ each time for because they are incompetent and did not send the proper tests to be done in the first place. Any time I called for my nurse, Lisa, she would not call me back and it was like pulling teeth to get information about my treatment. This is unacceptable! The doctor wanted me to complete the third month of my treatment but I was unable to do so because the office staff has no concept of communication or urgen

This guy is terrible. I would give him ZERO if I could. I had two procedures done and was bedridden for 7 days after. I called to speak to someone (hopefully the guy I was paying) and could not get a call back for help on what to do. I called again after NINE days in bed with still no response. Go to someone who can help you. I finally had to make an appointment with my primary care physician because the guy who should be treating me will not help. Find a gastroenterologist who will actually help rather that just run a lab performing colonoscopies and endoscopies.
