Holladay Clinic - InstaCare

When I visited the Holladay Instacare location, I was convinced I had a particular issue. However, Dr. David Yoon quickly identified a different problem. His swift and accurate diagnosis left me thoroughly impressed. He took the time to explain my condition and checked a few other aspects to ensure my peace of mind. After starting the prescribed medication, I'm already feeling better. Without a doubt, Dr. Yoon is the best Instacare/ER doctor I've encountered. Additionally, the front desk staff were kind and helpful, and the nurses were both personable and knowledgeable. Though I seldom visit Instacare, this will undoubtedly be my go-to location from now on.

I have never had a satisfactory experience with this InstaCare before, but this last time was my breaking point. I came in for a rapid strep test (for a second time that month, because I was in a lot of pain). It wasn't busy at all, so I was looking forward to a more fulfilling visit than my last one, since my symptoms were not getting better after nearly two weeks. The Medical Assistant was extremely rough with the strep test, and I burst into tears right after she left (not my first time crying after a strep test, but this one was the worst). Once the doctor came in, I told him my symptoms, including white spots on my tonsils. He VERY quickly checked out my throat and ears, and said if I have a negative strep test I could go. He left the room for a bit, and then returned saying that I c

Seriously the worst visit I have ever had. The front desk and the nurse were fabulous but the doctor was unprofessional and unhelpful. When I would ask for advice he kept asking me what I thought. I repeatedly told him I was here because he is the expert and I needed his advice. When I told him it hurt to swallow his response was, “I can’t see that part of your throat. Do you want a steroid?” When I continued to ask questions he would just follow to with remarks about how if I worked at the clinic I would have different expectations of what sickness is and kept asking me what medications I wanted. I wanted the doctor to advise me on how to get better. Horrible horrible visit.

Was on my death bed with the flu and this place brought me back to life. IV fluids and zofran. The doctor couldn’t have been better or more kind. Same with my nurse Allison. Thank you. 🙏

One of the doctors was super mean and dismissive, I didn’t catch her name but she has black super short hair and she was older, the other doctors were pretty nice but they wouldn’t give me anything to make my throat swelling go down besides a bunch of pain killers that did nothing besides make me nauseous all day, took matters into my own hands and found an online doctor that prescribed me steroids just like I had mentioned to the instacare but they wouldn’t give me, I started feeling better the same day I took steroids after I had been miserable for days before that, that’s a lot instacare! For NOTHING!
