Holdenville General Hospital

I came here after a having a horrible experience at Mercy Hospital in ADA. The staff there are so unorganized. It took me 3 months to get in for an MRI. After Mercy wasted 3 months of my time, gas, and lost work, I called my specialist and insisted they send the order to Holdenville General Hospital. HGH got me in the very next day for an MRI. It was a very smooth and comfortable process. They have a brand new state of the art MRI machine. They made me super comfortable and even let me listen to music while I was scanned. The staff was super friendly and efficient. They made sure I was comfortable from the time that stepped in from the time I left. They explained the process really well and gave me clear directions that helped get a fast and successful scan. I will never go back to Mercy

Very friendly staff and medical personnel. Dr. Rosengren listens well, is very knowledgeable, and gives clear instructions. The hospital and Rural Health Clinic have short wait times.They refer out for major surgery (heart, knee, etc.) or baby delivery, but can do GI procedures, x-rays and some minor surgeries.

We are very pleased with the Hospital Staff and the care given by everyone that works here. The food is amazing and always hot and ready to eat. They even serve me meals as well due to the fact I’m staying with my husband night and day. The PT ordered is very efficiently shown so fast results will help John get back to normal living like he was used to before his surgery. We highly recommend this hospital.

I recently had an emergency and was treated very promptly.The staff was courteous and provided the care I needed promptly. Everyone was very kind and understanding and made my experience a good one thank you to everyone who assisted me I appreciate it.

3 years ago I had a not so positive experience at HGH ER. In retrospect, it wasn't their fault. Fast forward to 2018/2019...I see the nurse practitioner Julia Dority now and I have once again been to their ER. Julia Dority is wonderful! I love nurse practitioners, they have spent time at the bedside doing actual patient care and to me, you cannot replace that experience. Doctors (not that I have anything against them at all. I go to doctors if I need a specialist) do not have that experience. When I have needed to see Julia, they fit me in with her usually that day. That's not gonna last, she is spectacular, professional, and caring and she listens. Pretty soon, I know I am going to have to wait to see her because she is that good and I am okay with that. As for my ER visit in November 20
