Katy is so gentle and kind. She shows so much patience for crazy kids and treats them like her own. She provides much needed preventative care to those that would most likely go without otherwise. She's a good person first and that shows in her care.

After I took my brother to a chain dental practice three times, they didn’t clean or help my brother's teeth because he has a disability, and they were judging him without even trying. They didn’t take Mainecare, and they demanded he get medicated for cleanings while charging him a high price for doing nothing. But, after calling around the whole state, I finally found Katy at Holden Dental Hygiene, who takes MaineCare for adults and children which is so hard to find. Her office is beautiful, serene, and quiet, which calmed my brother unlike most dental practices which are LOUD and overstimulating. She put on his favorite rock music and treated my brother like a valuable human being. She was kind and made him feel seen and heard. He's in a wheelchair, and she accommodated him by making

Wow incredible difference and she knows where to send me to get what I need done. It hurt a little but it was worth it. She is actually able to remove stains from when I smoked and accepted Maine Care. She has a water gun scraper to get off the tarter. She made them smooth again and removed a large buildup of tarter. And I got a new waterpick thing she told me to get. It makes flossing way better. And she does X-rays. By the way my lip has healed up fine. It made a blister later on that popped then it fully healed.

Absolutely love having my teeth cleaned by Katy. She is so knowledgeable about dental health and puts me at such ease when I’m in her chair. She provides a cozy blanket during the appt and the environment is so clean and bright. I’ve been getting my teeth cleaned by her for about a year and a half and I look forward to every cleaning. I also had my teeth whitened and I’m obsessed with the results. 10/10 recommend making your next dental appt here.

Emily was friendly, informative and alerted me to potentially difficult areas of my mouth to clean. She was sensitive to areas where my gums were a little recessed.
