HMH - RBMC LTACH - Perth Amboy

I was a patient at the Perth Amboy facility from 5/30-7/21 I was a medically complicated patient and was amazingly impressed with how well the staff understood my case and how well they took care of me. It is not hyperbole to say they saved my life. I cant say enough good things about this LTACH. From admissions, nursing care, physical therapy to case management, this staff, theses people are all top notch. I have experience with a lot of Drs and these Drs were amazing. They were personable and knowledgable. I had 100% confidence in all of them and knew my care was in excellent hands. My room and bedding were constantly cleaned, the meals were prompt and good. I have nothing negative to say about this facility and the wonderful human beings that work there.

My aunt was in the LTACH unit for 30 days and I stayed with her day and night. The nursing staff was exemplary, always ready to comfort her, quiet her fears and mine. The doctors caring for her made her health their first priority but most importantly they treated her as if she were family. As for me, her niece, everyone made sure I was fine , either a comfy blanket to sleep or making sure that I’m eating. I thank God for the wonderful people at Hackensack Meridian LTACH. My father is here in the LTACH and his care is exceptional. Would definitely recommend if you need to go to an LTACH this is the ONE to go to as my father has been to another in past and absolutely horrible

HMH LTACH has set the bar high for patient care. The clean, modern facility offers free and ample parking close by. Their dedicated team of doctors, nurses, therapists, social workers, aides, etc. are very accesible, and work seamlessly and tirelessly to ensure the best possible outcome for their patients. I would like to give a special thank you to respiratory therapist Dr. Sreedha. His knowledge and diligence helped ween my father off the ventilator. We are forever grateful to you. HMH LTACH was a place of comfort and healing for our family.
