HMH Old Bridge Medical Center

During a severe blizzard, I brought my dad to the ER, and the staff immediately stepped in to help. The intake team was incredibly supportive during a very stressful time. My dad was admitted to the ICU, and the doctors and nurses there have been truly amazing. Their compassion, dedication, and constant attention to my father have meant more to our family than words can express. We are deeply thankful for the care they have given him.

This hospital has become a complete joke. The doctors don't actually care about their parents. In my personal opinion the doctors at Old Bridge really only see you as a money grab, just another number to them. I had experienced a heart attack on September 9. And upon entering the ER the doctors there had no worry or care in the world. They believed I wasn't having a heart attack with all the visible symptoms showing and yet they were constantly questioning me and while I was trying my best to to answer their questions while I was having stroke speech. And all the same while he had no care in the world what I was going through. It was by the good grace in Doctor Silom who had me admitted. I know for fact if the doctors sent me home that night I most certainly would have died of another hear

Last night I was experiencing what I believed were pre-term contractions at 28 weeks pregnant. I went to Old Bridge HMH ER , because it was the closest hospital. And I assure you, I will not even make another attempt again. The staff from the front desk to the triage room were less than polite & quite rude. The woman doing my intake did not listen to what my symptoms were…and then referred to me as “the pregnant girl” quite loudly in front of other patients. I was told there is no maternity ward at the OB location which is alright, I just needed to get checked since I was literally about to pass out from pain and throwing up from pain. A nurse came into the triage room & was extremely rude while explaining there was no maternity ward and there was nothing he could do. His bedside manners

Was transported by ambulance to this hospital because it was closest to where I live (we just moved in October so I don’t know much about the area yet). I was having severe pain following ORIF ankle surgery which I had THAT MORNING at a hospital in PA, and had just returned home from. Mind you, I’m also 28 weeks pregnant. Pretty much every single staff member I encountered was rude and condescending, didn’t listen to anything I was saying. One woman kept trying to take my blood pressure about 15 times with a machine and kept failing, being in the medical field myself not really sure why she didn’t try to just do it manually after the 10th time, probably cause she didn’t know how to do that either. This morning, my mother-in-law fell and hit her head, and she was taken by ambulance to Old Bridge. From the moment we arrived, the staff couldn’t have been more kind, helpful, and compassionate. Christina, the tech, was especially wonderful—so attentive and reassuring. Every single person we encountered made a scary and stressful situation so much easier to handle. Thank you to the entire team for your outstanding care and kindness!
