⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5-Star Review My husband recently went to the Emergency Room at Ocean University Medical Center in Brick Township, New Jersey due to abdominal pain, and I cannot say enough good things about our experience. From the moment we arrived, the registration staff greeted us with kindness, professionalism, and efficiency, which immediately put us at ease. We were then brought into the emergency room, where we were cared for by Roz, RN, Michele, her assistant, and Dr. Ghassemi. Each member of the team treated my husband with genuine respect, compassion, and professionalism. They listened carefully, explained everything clearly, and provided care in a very timely manner. It truly made a stressful situation much easier to handle. We are extremely grateful for the excellent care my hus

The majority of the nurses in the ER have absolutely no bedside manner. This has been my partner’s 4th trip to the ER due to undiagnosed symptoms he’s been experiencing for almost a year now. Each visit we have been met with nurses who have been rude, dismissive, and lacking empathy. This last visit was especially memorable because we were placed in the hallway directly beside the nurses station. The nurses were loudly talking shit about the other patients in the ER, shouting to & referring to one of the patient’s as “Lady with the cane” when she couldn't find her way back to her room from the restroom. I understand that being a nurse is a mentally, emotionally, & physically demanding job that’s not for the weak, but your patients are scared. It may not be the nurses first, but most of the

I typically am very satisfied with any Hackensack Meridian hospital, but this one threw me for a loop unfortunately. I was at the emergency room last week for bad stomach pain, a bad fever, weakness, body aches, etc. My urgent care doctor had sent me. I have a history of some chronic illnesses that were disclosed to the nurses throughout my visit. While majority of the staff was nice, there unfortunately were areas that fell flat. The biggest issue was their lack of understanding towards allergies. One of my allergens is in medication and they were about to give me a medication I know that I cannot have. When I told them I cannot take that they told me "they don't even think about gluten in medications" and that they don't check. This could really hurt someone and get them sick. This is a

I stayed here after my surgery. I had an amazing experience. I was on 3rd floor post surgery. The rooms were beautiful and clean. The nurses were compassionate and attentive. The food was good. I was irritable and it helped to have such comforting nurses. ❤️ My daytime nurse was Megan and my night nurse was Juan and Chris. The Ocean Medical Center made a difference.

Spent more than 3 hours in ED after my daughter fainted, had been vomiting, pale and dizzy just to receive no treatment... not even IV fluids!! Dr. Sandra Haroun came in once, ordered EKG and blood work then we never saw her again... not even to he discharged. She directly looked at me in hallway multiple times trying to speak with her after waiting over 2 hours to know what plan was but she blatantly ignored me. We were told by nurse, my daughter's hemoglobin had dropped from 12 to 11 then 10 but we were discharged since it's wasn't yet at level for a transfusion. Nurse confirmed she does need iron transfusion but "we don't do that in ED". We were sent home with no treatment, no plan and no improvement. We have always been told not to go to this ED and they proved it. Only while receivi
