HMH JFK University Medical Center

I have been admitted and placed in the hallway. I had to wait for over 6 hours to be placed in a room. The next day I had my procedure. At 12 I was told I could have a clear diet. It is 7:40 and I still don't have any food. I now have been moved for the third time to a room and a roommate that is screaming and being watched by a robot. There were holes in the wall. I feel so disrespected and treated like a money grab. It is such a shame how I have been treated. Not to say that I am better than but I have insurance. My last stay at JFK I was attacked my bedbugs. Do better.. Day 3 ordered breakfast at 837 am and was told that breakfast would take an hour due to breakfast being over at 830. The breakfast came at 1015. SMH

I recently had the opportunity to visit your hospital with my daughter, and I must say, my previous positive reviews of this hospital were reinforced by the exceptional care we received from the neuroscience department. The doctors and staff were kind, courteous, and professional, which truly shows that image is everything. However, my experience at the front desk was a stark contrast. I've visited the hospital multiple times, and I've never been greeted with such rudeness and lack of customer service. The staff member, Anita, failed to display basic courtesies like "thank you," "please," or "have a nice day." When I handed over my ID, it was snatched and returned harshly without a word of appreciation. The name tag was handed to me without a single word. Her attitude was rude and lacking

My husband was admitted to the Cardiac Observational Unit the second weekend of December due to lung congestion and difficulty breathing. I have never been to fond of this hospital but I am extremely grateful for the attention and care my husband received during his stay. The night shift was especially excellent and professional. Michelle was amazing making sure she covered my husbands basic needs and making him feel comfortable since he was coughing so much and very restless. He is grateful for her care. He was able to recuperate quickly she was on top of his meds during the night and making sure the receiving shift was aware of his needs. Great sense of team work and love for the patients. Hii everyone so i have mixed review about this hospital. I had last year 2024 induction n labour n delivery n this year i had induction n delivery. I am still in hospital waiting for my discharge. Labour n delivery nursing staff, team all are excellent. They are like angels provide 1:1 support n care. However the biggest issue n concern we had is after the delivery. Food n cafeteria service is horrible.no matter how early u place order they deliver after 3 hours that too half order. They should have emergency snacks in post delivery unit i thats the recommendation. However they tried and apologize n made things clear thats more than for us. But at the end my delivery n labour process was smooth, nurses helped us like mother n care like angels. For sure pediatric n post delivery staff also
