Dr. Baker was wonderful! I had to have emergency retina surgery and he took me in on a Friday afternoon, having had the day off to have tooth work himself. He came to surgery with a numb jaw, explained everything. I was very nervous but his knowledge and communication helped ease my anxiety. I had to cancel a mission trip, which, he pondered if there was a way to still go but measuring all the options, he suggested I not go. His balanced thought process was easy to trust. Thank you, Dr. Baker for helping me.

Dr Baker repaired holes in one eye and reattached the retina in the other eye for my mother recently. We really lucked into getting referred to Dr Baker. I echo every single 5 star review that has been left here. He is top notch. He took great care of my mother and patiently explained her situation, the surgery and the care of her eye after the operation. Dr Baker never rushed us and made sure that all our questions were answered before we left his office.

I thought Dr Baker was great! Patient!!! To say the least, I am a huge Baby and he made me feel at ease. I know I irritated him to death because I kept falling asleep during surgery and apparently I wasn’t supposed to.😂😂😂 Great Doctor, and Fantastic Staff!

Dr. Baker and his team are amazing. While our family was on vacation in Hilton Head I had a retinal detachment with several tears. It was very, very scary. Dr. Baker performed emergency surgery the same day we met and saved my vision. From the moment I met he and Tracy, I know I was in the very best hands. They went out of their way and rearranged his schedule to provide me with exceptional care. I am home and almost 3 weeks post op and I am doing great. After my last appointment today, my wife asked me why I liked Dr Baker. I told her "Even though it was an emergency visit, he fit me in his schedule the next day. He took the time to explain what was going on with my eye and what needed to be done in a very simple approach. After the procedure, he again explained what I needed to do to make the surgery a success. I was never rushed, questions were answered and I felt a confidence in him that, sadly, I haven't been finding in other doctors lately. Plus, like me, he's a marathoner, so he's got that going for him as well. lol".
