Highland Specialty Pharmacy

I am a first time user of Highland Specialty Pharmacy. Today I talked to Payton about setting up my account and information. She was very helpful and explained everything to me, letting me know about costs, refills and texts I would be receiving and what to expect next. I am very pleased with Highland Pharmacy and Payton.

My physician sent them a prescription for a 90-day supply. They sent me a text message saying they received my prescription and asked me to confirm my preferred shipping method. After confirming my shipping method, they confirmed that they’d process my prescription. When I received my prescription, they only filled it for 30-days (which has a higher price than the 90-day supply), and when I questioned and complained about their deviation from what was prescribed, they deflected blame and said it was my fault for not telling them I wanted the prescription as my doctor sent it to them. Customer service kept telling me it’s my fault and that I should have told them to fill it as prescribed. I had a very frustrating and unprofessional experience with this pharmacy. I first received a text that my medication payment could not be processed. When I called, the first representative told me that full amount $165 had not gone through but that I only owed $21.68. That amount made sense because my HSA card had already been charged $143.32. When I tried to clarify this, she became frustrated and transferred me. The next representative explained she had processed the original transaction. She asked for my debit card number but never explained she was about to charge the full $165. I assumed she was running the $21.68 balance. I've been ordering Tirosint from this pharmacy for over a year. At first I was hesitant to order from out of state but I've experienced nothing but great customer service. Today my provider sent in a refill to Highland and a rep called me to ask if I wanted them to send it out. This was helpful because my doctor did not respond to my message in the portal, so I wouldn't have known that he sent it in if the rep had not called me. Highly recommend!

I call monthly to have my Tirosint shipped to my home in Florida. I talk to a specific pharmacist that is always the most pleasant with a cheerful tone. I have a lot of different medications and the ease of ordering with this pharmacy makes my life so much easier! Thank you for what you do!
