Highland Park Skilled Nursing & Wellness Centre

I am basing my experience on my tour of the place The admissions person, a young heavy set woman came off more like a car sales person. There was no empathy or compassion while i was in a very tough situation to find care for my grandpa. She even had the audacity to say that i looked stress and was giving off stress energy. Who says that? Anyway. The whole tour vibe is their sale pitch to get people to send their loved ones there. The place is one of those last minute places that unfortunately a family has no other choice or a hospital happens to just send them there. Can’t speak for the rest of the staff.

This place is wonderfully clean and my family member is well cared for here. The staff is professional and responsive to our needs. My family member is getting PT and improving daily! I've visited a few nursing homes and Highland Park has exceeded our expectations. It is super clean with no odors. Take a tour and see for yourself! It's also in a cute neighborhood with freeway access and not far from Pasadena so visiting and day passes are easy.

The staff were nice and helpful. The facility has a lot of patients.

While I am still in the interviewing/visiting stage for a new home for my father, I didn't want to wait another minute before singing Alex's (in the Admissions Department) praises. He is extremely knowledgeable, personable and professional. This facility is getting my high consideration solely because of him. Well done and keep up the great work!

The staff really cares about the residents, I’m not sure why the ratings are what they are, from personal experience the management is dedicated to making the facility the most healthy and fun environment possible.
