They made both us and our adult rescue xl Mastiff mix feel welcome and comfortable on her first visit. Did everything in the exam room including check out to help alleviate her fear and offered treats and love as well.

Dr. Merkle is the absolute best. I recommend her to everyone who has a fur baby. She takes her time to not only give the best possible care for your baby, but she is also able to calm the parents' mind by explaining what comes next. As long as Dr. Merkle is a part of Highland, my fur babies will forever be a part of it as well. Thank you for everything you do for Banks & all the rest. Your kind. genuine, caring yet professional heart do not go unnoticed or appreciated.

This was our first time meeting Dr. Sheasly. I brought both my shepherd and Great Dane. She throughly examined and cared for my dogs. She listened to me as I voiced all of my concerns. She was wonderful. Will be using her from here on out. 10/10. Thank you!

Highland has taken care of all of our cats since the 80’s.we have had nothing but great experiences with this clinic. Today we had an exceptionally great visit. Everyone from the team answering the phone, to reception, to Dr Merkel and her assistant were truly amazing. We were able to be seen same day for one of our cats that they’ve never seen before as he is, by his choice, outdoor only. They guided us on the medication process to facilitate his visit and then despite the fact that we had to last minute cancel a morning visit, they accommodated us for basically an afternoon walk in appointment. Dr Merkel is truly gifted - thorough, patient and kind. It could not have been a better encounter. We are so very fortunate to have Highland and especially Dr Merkel right here in Slatington. She

Had a great experience here. I will Continue to return. very good with my cats. Also love that they call and do a follow up to make sure the animal is doing well. Never have an issue getting an appointment. Don’t wait very long in the waiting area and it’s very clean. Love this place.
