This place is amazing! There aren’t very many places that can do what this team does. They communicate with us about everything with our mom and are quick to answer all of our questions and concerns! The nurse managers are very thorough and the social worker does an incredible job of helping us get through our my mom’s ever changing situation. People are hard on this team, not understanding that the residents here are the same ones who can’t stay home and have been rejected by other nursing homes. My mom loves the food and is finally, consistently putting on a healthy amount of weight. The Administrator works really hard to keep the building running smoothly! Do not take your loved one here. They rarely answer the telephone. The staff is extremely rude especially those that answer the telephone. This place is extremely dirty, the resident's are not cared for and the staff they blantently ignore the residents. Every time I visit, my feet stick to the floor and the staff are sitting around texting on their phone. A friend of mine has a relative here and we visited this awful place. The alzheimers unit is so depressing with its manilla walls and the residents are not involved in any type of activities. As someone who worked with the elderly in facilities, most have activities, calming music, decent decor, and attentive staff. This place has none of these. Everytime we visit, the residents are either extremely agitated or appear to be overmedicated

Do not recommend this place for anyone’s loved one. Administrator is demeaning to her staff and why so many unqualified staffing agency staff are used.

My Mother has been a resident at Highbanks for almost 2 years. I feel very blessed that we found this facility. It is always very clean and she is well taken care of. The staff is very personable and they take the time to get to know everyone there from the residents to their families..and residents are just amazing. There are plenty of things for her to-do from bingo to outing a few times a month. The activities director interacts with all the residents on such a personal level and gets their input on activities they would like to do. I feel very comfortable leaving my mother's care in their hands.. And my Mother just loves it there.

Great place! They take excellent care of their patients and go above and beyond. The nurse name Sara was amazing, along with the rest of the staff. They are awesome, highly recommend if wanting to have peace of mind when family members are in a nursing home. THE BEST ❤️
