Hernas Veterinary Clinic

My pets have been patients of Dr. Hernas for 15 years, and she has always treated us wonderfully. Dr. Hernas is a very knowledgeable and caring vet, and she can have honest difficult conversations while still being compassionate. She recently hired a second vet, Dr. Alan, and he did a wonderful job removing my cat's infected tooth this week. Also, the staff has gone above and beyond to write appeal letters to my pet insurance when I've off my claims was refused. LOVE THIS PLACE!

I would not recommend this veterinary office. For over a year, my dog continued to decline under their care while I spent hundreds of dollars (they strongly prefer cash). We were reassured everything was fine, yet he was getting worse and worse. After switching vets, we were told his condition should have been handled very differently. He was started on the correct medication, and within FOUR DAYS he showed more improvement than he had in a year — his hair is even finally growing back after being sedated and shaved eight months ago. Red flags I ignored: • Told prescriptions had to be ordered through Chewy because it was “cheaper” — it wasn’t. • Never offered written scripts to fill elsewhere. • Consistently rude staff — Mona in particular. The final straw was when I referred a friend. T

Dr Hernas and her entire staff are just wonderful. They all seem to be devout animal lovers who genuinely care. I’ve been taking my 5 lb tiny, sensitive, toy poodle Dominique there since she was a puppy, now 12 years. Dr. Hernas diagnosed Dominique with Epilepsy when she was five during a very stress-filled period of difficult to describe seizures. Dr. Hernas and her staff and continue to monitor her and as a result, it’s been very controlled ever since. I’ve known Dr. Hernas before using her veterinary services and am here to tell you that her compassion for animals along with her skilled medical and surgical experience is second to no one. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

I can’t say enough how wonderful the staff are there. The rooms are clean, there’s little to no wait time, and my puppy Bonnie loves it there!

As a new customer, they got me in on the same day I phoned them! It's a nice, clean office staffed by really friendly people. The veterinarian who helped us was a really nice guy, I liked him a lot and so did my kitty! I would totally recommend this clinic if you're looking for a new vet for your pet.
