Hermitage Nursing and Rehab Center

Well, it took changing beds 5 times before they could find one that worked correctly and still can’t see out windows due to fogged up and needing to be replaced. No splint available when resident broke a bone (had to make one out of a cardboard box. Seriously). Owners need to put money into building and hire people who want to be there. - Food has improved. Sadly, you get a good nurse or aid and then they leave because other locations pay more. Update -food still hit and miss AND has actually forgotten to deliver it to resident a couple of times so resident had to call and see where the food it. Yes it arrived cold and two hours late….not the first time. Communication is better with some individuals now but with being short staffed they don’t pick up phone or it’s hard to find someone at

I was a resident at Christian Health Care for 3 years and if I have to go to a Nursing Home again, it seems to be soon, and I want to go back there. It is home to me.

It's a beautiful drive just riding to Hertimage, MO. Take the family and visit the Ozarks on the way.
