Herman Health Care Center

I’ve come here many times. At first I thought this was a decent place. If you bring items for your loved one, take pictures of the items. On several occasions, I brought , shoes, other things, like clothing, slippers and gloves, for my mother. When I come back to visit, it’s always stolen. Today I brought my mother some candy for Christmas, I set the two bags of candy on her nightstand, we went outside for 30 minutes, come back to the room and I bag of candy was missing. I spoke to one of the staffers, he stated that one of the residents may have taken it. I personally suspect that it might be the staff, stealing these items. You shouldn’t be allowed to take things, that do not belong to you. It’s very sad that the patients can not enjoy the items, that family and friends bring to them. So

I had a patient recently call me from Herman Healthcare who said "Thank you so much for helping me get here, it is so much better than where I had been before, I love the staff and I love the food, and they have been helping me get stronger every day" So happy to hear this positive feedback, I just had to share!

My brother has been taken lots of new clothes from family members, but when we go to visit, none of the clothes are in his room!

My sister has been here for many years. She's been at several facilities and this is the only one she's comfortable in. And she's not highly dosed so we can actually communicate around some of her disabilities. Staff work hard and appear to treat everyone well.

I want to thank IVANNA for all her help yesterday. They have been taking care of our 81 year old Uncle for the past 2 years. He is now at the end of his life and they have been very compassionate and giving great care to make sure he is comfortable. Thank you again Ivanna for all your help and information 🙏 on his health.
