Hereford Pharmacy

This was my first time visiting this pharmacy as I don't live in this area. My grandson needed medication while his parents were out of the country and I was the caregiver. All I was able to find was an outdated insurance card but presented it to the pharmacy since the insurance had not expired just the card. They were prompt and very pleasant. They took the card and my ID and told me it would be a few minutes as they had to assign the order for the insurance to pay. So, after we wandered the store, which was laid out in an attractive way, for a while, we returned to the pharmacy only to find out they couldn't find his current insurance because the one on the card wasn't accepting the charge. I've never experienced anything but the best level of service at the Hereford Pharmacy. Whether stopping-in to pick-up a prescription refill, get a flu shot, or to buy greetings cards, the staff are always welcoming and helpful. After being a customer for the past four years, I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else.

There is simply no better pharmacy- period. This is the kind of small-town pharmacy that you dream of. They absolutely go out of their way to take care of patients with the highest level of integrity and professionalism possible. Years ago my login for the online refill system got wonky so I put in a help request to try to get it figured out. First thing the next morning the pharmacist himself called me to troubleshoot. The staff are friendly and almost always know you when they see you- except if you’re picking up some kinda cream for a rash on your bum; then they act like they’ve never seen you before which is exactly what you want in that situation amiright? If you’re tired of the nonsense at the chain places, this is your best bet!

Hereford Pharmacy has gone down hill. They are not autofilling prescriptions, despite multiple promises by different pharmacists. They changed my husband's 90 days prescription for maintenance medication to 60 days, and most recently tried to change it to 30 days without communicating with us. They originally claimed it was because of insurance, but after I called insurance and confirmed 90 days supply was still available, they admitted it was their "policy". They dropped the ball several times now, are dishonest, do not inform patients of their actions, and lack transparency. Do not use them.
