Henry Ford Medical Center - Ferndale

Dr. Iskenderian is one of the best doctors I’ve ever had. This rating is for the location overall. Perpetually understaffed. Good luck ever getting anyone on the phone or having anyone ever return your calls. The front desk employees here are always grouchy, and who wouldn’t be when they have to manage patients coming in, constant phone calls, and switching to a new system every time they are purchased (a yearly occurrence since they opened). But why pay for more workers when the only ones who suffer from it are their current staff and patients who they only think of as customers?

Best office I have been to so far! Great front desk ladies so helpful and sweet! The nurses / MA's are amazing! They know there stuff and took suck great care until the doctor came in and talked to me like a person! Dr Chris is very thorough and listens to everything you have to say and very knowledgeable about questions The office manager rocks! She did some of my testing...this office is highly recommended for your medical home/needs!!!! Keep up the great work! Thanks so much for everything!

I recently visited Ascension Medical Group for an appointment with Dr. Christopher Isham. While Dr. Isham was excellent—caring and professional—the experience at the front desk was deeply upsetting. The receptionist is an older woman who introduced herself as Debbie and was incredibly rude, insensitive, and outright disrespectful. Later, when I called the office to clarify a problem with my prescription, she even made fun of me, which was entirely uncalled for. She didn’t let me finish my sentences and explained why I was calling. Her behavior was unprofessional and unacceptable, and it left me feeling very upset. If she cannot treat patients with respect and compassion, she should not be in a role that involves interacting with people. This experience has left a negative impression, and

I have been with Dr Thabolingham for just under two years and I’ve been grateful for his help and support. When he and his team moved to the Ferndale office, I moved with them and have not regretted it. I LOVE his staff, especially my ladies at the front desk! Everyone has always been professional, welcoming and kind, and extremely attentive to my needs. The new office space is clean, spacious and accommodating to people with all medical needs. As a medical professional, I’m thrilled to have this group caring for me.
