Dr. Atashbar is highly skilled and exceptional dentist. From the moment I stepped into your office, I immediately felt welcomed and comfortable. Office is clean and staff is kind and professional. HOWEVER, they are not transparent at all. Dr. Atashbar told me that a perfectly good silver filling has to be removed. How do I know? I got a second opinion. I went to another Dentist and he looked at it for a minute and said it’s perfectly fine. Now, I don’t doubt her skills as a dentist she probably would have done a good job but it so dishonest. Be open!! Give me all the options and let me decide!! I can’t imagine how many people didn’t get a second opinion and went through with the procedure. There are also other procedures that they throw into a regular cleaning that are unnecessary. The point is that she’s a good dentist but a terrible dishonest and unethical business woman. Stay Away!!

When I used to go this place, a lot of the time I would ask for more detailed explanations, but they wouldn’t explain things thoroughly. For my cleaning, when I asked the doctor, she told me I needed a deep cleaning. However, when I went somewhere else, the new doctor and hygienist told me I only needed a general cleaning, and it wasn’t a deep cleaning case at all, since there was no bone loss!!! That’s why I don’t go to them anymore, and I don’t recommend them either.
