Heart of Georgia Animal Care

We brought our dog to Heart of Georgia Animal Hospital on February 12th and received the devastating news that he was in stage 4 kidney failure. While the outcome was heartbreaking, the compassion we experienced from the staff made all the difference. Rachel and Kayla were incredibly kind, patient, and gentle with both us and our dog. They gave us the time and space we needed and moved us into a calm, comfortable room to say goodbye. The thoughtful details, including a small jar of chocolate kisses “for the journey to heaven,” meant more than we can express. We may not have gotten the result we hoped for, but we felt cared for every step of the way. We will absolutely continue bringing our other pets here.

This was my first trip here for one of my cats. Fast, easy check-in. Very friendly and polite front desk staff. They kept me up to date all the way along as I dropped him off and went back to work. They keep this place very clean and well organized. Checkout was just as easy with clear billing. I appreciate the care that they give from start to finish, the professionalism, and transparency. Having a caring vet means the world for my fur babies. Thank you for being an amazing clinic!!

We discovered a head wound on our livestock guardian dog on a Saturday morning. They were able to see us on short notice and took excellent care of our boy. The staff is so caring and warm. Dr Washington explained the treatment plan to us and answered all our questions. They performed the necessary procedures and treated Cash with love and compassion.
