My mom’s audiologist retired and sold her practice to Hearing Brain Centers of America.,when I made the appointment, I said that her insurance covered her hearing aids and wanted to confirm that her insurance would be still honored. I was told “ we will go over all that when you come in, no worries “. I brought my wheelchair bound elderly mother into the center. Dr. James was very nice and conducted a thorough examination and questionnaire. After the exam, Dr. James explained that the center only represents one brand of hearing aids because they are top of the line. The price tag was $8,000! I stated that my mom’s insurance always covered 100 percent of her hearing aids and was told that it didn’t cover the ones they sold. Why were we there then? I cannot thank Dr. Bureau and Sarah enough at Hearing and Brain Centers of America! I’ve been struggling with progressive hearing loss over the last 5 years, and finding them truly changed my life. They took the time to thoroughly explain the treatment process, answered all of my questions, and made sure I understood how everything worked.
