Besides the massage being a reasonable price and the atmosphere being so peaceful, my friend and I had a horrible massage experience. I just had a new baby and was in need of a full body massage, but I didn't want to take my brawl off just in case my milk started to leak. However, my masseuse decided to snatch my brawl off without even asking if I wanted to keep it on. Then in the middle of my massage he used hot rocks AGAINST my will. I told him "no, I don't want hot rocks," and he confirmed that I didn't want it, then his co worker also confirmed I didn't want hot rocks BUT he still used them. Awesome experience! Came in right after work, booked a 1 hr full body massage with FREE hot stone, was given a free drink at arrival, staff were all very kind and attentive to my needs! Got a private room, which was nice. My masseuse, Lucy, was very kind and charismatic, and paid a lot of attention to detail and made sure to ask me if the pressure was ok. Would recommend you come here :)

The first time I went here was April 2024 and did not like the massage. Since they used vegetable seeds oils (yuck, but not the point of this review), I opted for no oil, clothes on massage in the open area. It was the worst massage I had gotten, the neck pillow was super uncomfortable and the therapist was very rough. The massage was anything but relaxing. This month I saw the sign that they are under new management, so in a pinch, decided to give them another try a few days ago. I brought my own oil and opted for a full body 90 minute massage and requested at least 10 min focus on my feet. This was worse than the first experience. Absolutely the worst massage I've ever had. Tao did my 90 min deep tissue and hot stone massage. He spent a ton of time driving his elbow into my shoulders. The remaining time was spent squeezing my skin (not massaging) me mostly one-handed, like a distracted teenager, while on her phone with the other hand. 8 minutes of it was spent out of the room to wash and clean the hot stones and heat up a washcloth. He had more hands on the chair that he banged around the tiny room than he did on me in the entire 90 minutes. Explained this to the front desk gal I figured was the owner or manager and got the answer of "oh next time we don't give you him." no concern or desire to earn my business back again. Don't go here. Spend the $40 more and go to a real massage spa.

Ankang Sole is the cleanest place. The front desk employees are so nice. The rooms are so clean. Lucy gave me the best massage. If your tired or sore, I highly recommend trying them.
