HealthPartners Urgent Care Woodbury

I've been to the urgent care clinic at this location twice in the past three months. Both times the staff have been so kind and considerate as well as quick and efficient. I went the day after Christmas for a recurring infection and I was able to get a procedure done the same morning to ease the pain I was having, and I was out the door with a prescription within an hour despite the receptionist telling me there was a 45-minute wait as the door opened at 8 a.m. I think one must have a very good bedside demeanor to work in urgent care, and Dr. Max and NP Rachael were both so warm, funny, gentle, caring, and fixed me up quickly. I cannot recommend this place enough.

I had taken my 1-year-old here with concerns about a possible ear infection. We have good insurance. We didn’t receive any good advice and was given an antibiotic that she didn’t really need. We had to come in a few days later because she was having an allergic reaction to the antibiotic. Both doctors both times were clueless and we left with no answers. Paying off an $800 bill even after insurance and getting no help at all. I’d avoid this place unless I had no other options. Staff is still nice but doctors acted like they didn’t care at all and barely said a thing.

The staff was friendly but overworked - I don’t know why but this location ALWAYS seems to be understaffed. The receptionists, nurses and doctors were super nice and relatable. They also made good references for additional care.

Good experience from the staff, but ever since I went a couple weeks ago I've been getting calls from health insurance scams, which means the Healthpartners sold my personal information. Give a fake phone number if you go here.

Very deceitful billing practices. If you don't like financial surprises do not come here or any HP UC for that matter. I checked with my Insurance Co prior to coming and was told this facility was in my network. Well, I received a big fat bill for part of the services that were ordered that day e.g. lab and xray. My Insurance paid for the UC Dr portion of the bill but not the Lab and xray as that was billed as an "office visit". My visit was strictly UC related. My insurance company said they would pay for the entire bill, however due to Healthpartners shady billing practices I'm stuck with paying a large portion. Also when I called to question this I was not treated very well by the billing dept. Scary these companies can deceive the public with their twisted billing practices. Hate to t
