Dr. Kay and Dr. Romero were very good at putting my mind at ease. My little dude had a hernia and they were wonderful at explaining things to my 4 year old and reassuring him that everything will be fine. They also were incredibly helpful and very thorough when explaining after care, what’s going to happen, things like that. I was very grateful to be able to go back with my son for anesthesia. This is the 2nd surgery that we have had at the Rocky Mountain hospital for children and they have been phenomenal every time.

I am delighted to report how wonderful Rocky Mountain Pediatric Surgery has been to our daughter. She has been having functionality problems with her almost 2 1/2 year old port. When I called the office, they were so helpful! Our daughter was promptly scheduled for a port eval in interventional radiology and with those results was quickly scheduled for a pre-op appointment and now port replacement surgery. Erin has been SO helpful with ALL the scheduling details and Taylor (PA) was absolutely wonderful in discussing and explaining the plans for the surgery. Dr. Rothenberg did a spectacular job placing the port almost 2 1/2 years ago but after all these months of daily use, along with the weekly access/de- accessing, it needs to be replaced. We had a wonderful experience with Dr. Kay! She walked us through everything and answered all of our questions kindly. Our 2 day old son was in great hands and we could not be more grateful for the care we received.

Dr. Shipman was amazing! She provided us with a great surgical option.
