I have worked with many Doctors in many specialties over my career. Dr. Woosik Chung, MD is one of the most competent, knowledgeable, communicative, and personable physicians/surgeons I have ever encountered. He cared about me personally from the onset. He and his professional staff have taken care of me for over 4 years. He never over-promised anything, but he never under-promised anything either. What else can you expect from any anticipated positive outcome in the practice of spinal surgery? Thank you Dr. Chung!

Dr. Chung and his staff are so top notch. I am one year out from my spinal fusion and I am pain free and back to my active life. If it wasn’t for Dr Chung I know my life wouldn’t be where I am today. Dr. Chung is so easy to talk to, he makes sure you understand everything you are going through and what the plan of action will be. His staff is just as helpful and energetic. You are definitely in good hands if you are fortunate enough to have him as your Dr.

I saw Dr. Chung for a consult due to bad sciatica, bulging disc. He explained everything very clearly and recommended trying more non-surgical interventions. My ortho doc had told me there was nothing more they could do and I was looking at surgery . Seeing Dr Chung and hearing what he had to say supported my instincts to seek out a new Ortho provider. He is very personable and explained things very well. Should I need surgery in the future, I would go back.

I went to see Dr. Chung to get a second opinion. I ended up liking him so much, that I transferred to him as the primary doctor for my spine issue. He takes time (I mean really takes time) to explain the situation fully. In the end we decided surgery was needed, and I couldn't be happier from the outcome. I feel like I won the lottery in finding Dr. Chung as my back in now perfect. Along with being a skilled surgeon, he is personable and genuine. The only downside of my time with Dr. Chung was his office staff at DISC. He has recently switched from the Denver International Spine Center (DISC) to Colorado Spine Specialists that has a different staff. There were too many issues to mention at DISC but I don't want my rant to take away from someone looking for a good spine specialist.
