HCA Healthcare Colleton Hospital

Just had my baby here Wednesday. I saw Dr. Allen at their practice the entire time and he was great. This was my 5th baby and my first time at a different hospital that wasn’t up north. This was by far the best experience I’ve had bringing a baby into the world. The staff was so supportive and set me up for success. Everyone in the OR for my C-section was so comforting and they knew what they were doing to make sure I didn’t feel anything and I was calm. All the nurses were beyond sweet and helpful. I would definitely recommend having your baby here. It’s a more personal experience too since it’s a smaller hospital. We drove an hour here every appointment and for the birth just because everyone was so nice. I would definitely do it again!

Was traveling from FL to NY and decided to rest in SC. Woke up in the morning with the worst abdominal pain and my fiancé called an ambulance. I was taken to the ER. From the moment I came in the staff was nothing short of amazing. Bedside manner was top notch. I had an emergency surgery performed Dr. Chu and Dr. Allen were very thorough and professional. The nurses took great care of me. Thank you so much to RN Caitlin. She was there for me through the night and RN Kayla assisted me in the morning and thru discharge. I couldn't have been put in better hands. This ER saved my life.

Some of the people here are awesome but personally they made my first days and months as a mom a living hell. I was expected to immediately take care of my baby despite meds and procedures they provided. The pediatrician was rude and wouldn't even look me in the eyes because they reported me for neglecting my children WHICH WAS UNFOUNDED BY DSS THEMSELVES. regardless it ruined our first days as parents, Christmas and my sons birthday because we couldn't be home thanks to their stupidity! Awful place to take infants, avoiding them like the plague.

My experience was nothing but AMAZING!!! Every nurse I had or either my baby had was just WONDERFUL!! THANK YOU TO BAILEY, TAKIYA, LYDIA, it’s also another amazing nurse that worked with Lydia and I can’t think of her name and I truly apologize for that but you ladies were just tremendous and accommodated me with all my needs plus more. I love you all and keep up with the amazing work!!! Thank you thank you and thank you all so much!!! ❤️❤️🥰🥰

HCA is horrible we waited two hours for a room when the wait time on the website stated 8 minutes! The doctor came in with his shoes halfway on walking on the back he ordered bloodwork and a CT which took hours for someone to complete this is beyond ridiculous.. I wouldn’t bring my sick dog back to this place changing the name but not the service is not fixing anything. The fastest service was registration making sure to get the payment info correct while rendering horrible service
