HCA Florida Panama City Emergency

Great time was had. I was poked a few times. Got to ride in the CT scanner. Got some liquid and some meds. The nurses were Wonderful and seemed to really care. Made sure I had things I didn't know I needed. The Dr was good the no nonsense type. They all got me taken care of and out the door as quick a possible. Highly recommend.

I watched the nurse scan all my medication and fluids I needed prior to leaving the emergency room and during the shift change a new nurse came in snatched the iv out of my arm with a full fluid bag and barely answered my questions before rushing me out. If I needed it I should have been allowed to finish whatever treatment the doctor assigned. If I didn’t need it I shouldn’t have been charged for it. First nurse was great felt like she truly wanted to help her patients. Second nurse not so much. Getting into the ER was very fast almost no wait before getting me to the back. Hopefully I don’t get hurt again but when I do I would go back and try to avoid shift change if possible.

Brittany Jo and Cole were truly wonderful and genuinely listened to my concerns. I felt heard and cared for as they explained the care plan clearly, and they were consistently attentive, checking in to see if the interventions were helping. Overall, it was a heartfelt 10/10 experience.

You don't take the patient's phone and say oh we can't find it and they have to threaten to call the sheriff's office. you don't lose the patient's ID and medical card. And for three why in the world doesn't take all of these hours just for someone to come in with high blood pressure? Gulf Coast medical center I've never waited that long. I could have been there and back three or four times. Smh you folks do realize that people's phones are their entire lives right. You have all of your debit card and Bank information. Pictures you don't want people to see. Some folks have DCF information and other important information in their phones. Text messages you don't want people to see. Your whole wallet and everything is inside of your phone. What is wrong with you people

You want to feel like the staff doesn’t care at all? You’re in the right place! You want the charge nurse and triage nurse to be outing and yelling your business across the lobby? This is the place for you! You want to watch as a woman roles in pain for 45min in the lobby while no one does anything or doesn’t care? Come to HCA! It’s a joy to sit in the lobby with your wife who is finding it harder and harder to breathe, but it’s ok it’s not an issue! Thanks HCA you made our day!
