⭐ 1 Star – Deeply Disturbing Pattern of Care My daughter went to Palms West to deliver her first child. What should have been a safe, supported experience became traumatic and deeply concerning. The delivery room had no air-conditioning. The temperature was unbearable. We notified the nurse multiple times and were told there were no other rooms available and that “all the rooms are like this.” When the doctor arrived and commented on how hot the room was, the same nurse told the doctor that we had been offered another room and declined. That was completely untrue. We were never offered another room — we were told there were none available. When my daughter requested an epidural, a resident came in and stated that he and the anesthesiologist would be performing the procedure. At no time

I went to the pediatric ER yesterday for my daughter and had an amazing experience with Dr. Dave Smith. He was very thorough, personable, and truly listened to all of my concerns. He took the time to walk me through everything and never made us feel rushed. Dr. Smith took the proper precautions to make sure my daughter was safe and answered all of my questions with patience and care. It was clear that he is extremely knowledgeable and dedicated to his patients. Thank you, Dr. Dave Smith, for providing such excellent care for my daughter!

I came in today at 7:20 got straight back..David Student and Claudia RN in emergency were absolutely awesome. Very kind. Greetings themselves with concern and empathy. Attentive to my needs explained everything Very clearly and smiles on the way out. Worked well together and separately. I absolutely adore this hospital . 01/31/2026 9:15 PM I brought my son to the emergency room at Palm West Hospital, and I honestly couldn’t be more grateful for the pediatric ER staff. From the moment we arrived, they were fast, professional, and incredibly gentle with my child. The nurses and doctors made sure he felt comfortable and safe, explained everything clearly, and treated him with real care and compassion. As a parent, that means everything. We were in and out surprisingly quickly, and my son was calm and well taken care of the entire time. The pediatric side of the ER truly exceeded my expectations. Thank you to the entire team for taking such great care of my kid. Highly recommended.

I cannot say enough good things about the ER at Palms West Hospital. My father was recently treated there, and the level of care he received was truly exceptional.
