HCA Florida North Florida Hospital

I have to give a huge thank you to the HCA Florida North Florida Hospital team in Gainesville and Ocala for taking such amazing care of me. Dr. Middleton was truly incredible. He addressed my medical needs thoroughly and refused to send me home, even though I wasn’t too fond of staying. But I appreciate him making me fully aware of how serious the situation was. A special thank you to Charge Nurse Tina at the Ocala hospital, Mikayla (PCT), and the rest of the nurses and staff, you all were absolutely amazing. Top-tier care, seriously. This is what you call patient care! 1000/10

On 1/27/26, I delivered my second son at HCA, and I can confidently say that while my first experience there eight years ago was wonderful, this second experience was truly exceptional. The on call provider that night, Maria Mellington with the Women’s Comprehensive Group, was fantastic. During my first birth, I labored for 29 hours; this time, from admission to delivery took just under 8 hours, and the care I received made all the difference. My Labor & Delivery nurse, Aurora, was gentle, kind, and incredibly encouraging. She coached my husband and me through every breath, stayed with me the entire time, and truly made the experience pleasant. After delivery, she continued to offer compassionate care, helping me clean up, assisting me to the restroom, and doing everything with patience

Had both my babies here and most of the nurses I got assigned when I delivered were truly amazing. I wish I remember the names but one that really stood out to me was the nurse I had in my last delivery I want to say her name was Alana? She really made a difference to me and during such a important moment I appreciate that more than she knows. I also got epidurals both times but the second one... the doctor messed up and let me tell you having contractions and someone sticking a needle in your spine wrong at the same time is not a good feeling. I found out after the fact he was a resident and the doctor over him had to come in while I was crying to fix his mistake. Thankfully it was smooth sailing after that. I recently had elective major surgery and was so impressed with the staff and the efficiency of the hospital. The intake, surgery and discharge was coordinated and professional. This was not my first experience with NFRMC and have always been pleased with the care I have received. It's my Go-To hospital. Thank you so much.

Dr Perbtani and his team are second to none! I have a lot of medical anxiety and have had to have few procedures in the past few years. He has really put me at ease. He is kind, patient, and extremely skilled. I can barely tell I had a procedure. His whole OR team always goes over and beyond to make me feel safe and very comfortable before putting me to sleep. I want to thank everyone for going over and beyond to make me always feel safe and comfortable. You all are the BEST!!!
