HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital

I recently went to vero emergency center with very high blood pressure and a chest pain. They immediately took me in and started figuring out what the symptoms ment.They kept me updated about what was going on until they decided I wasn’t having an heart attack and didn’t think the pain was related . We decided to go to Lawnwood for further testing and then transported me there.lawnwood used the check in info from vero so they just wheeled me up to the room.within 1/2 hour I was being monitored and was seeing the evaluation team and the person in charge of the floor ( hospitalist?), very fast and efficient!, I felt well taken care of.the next morning my doctors visited me and before noon I had 2 of the 3 major tests done .my nurses were excellent ! I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the medical team at HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital who cared for me during my recent visit to the Emergency Room and the Medical-Surgical unit, 4 N/S. I arrived at the hospital on February 23 with a symptom in my right breast, and from the very first moment the team acted quickly and professionally. The nurses, the physician on duty, and the surgeon examined me immediately, started intravenous antibiotics, and ordered the necessary tests. The Radiology and Ultrasound technicians also maintained excellent communication with the ER to ensure my care moved quickly and efficiently. Later, I was admitted to the fourth floor  Medical Surgical unit, where I received constant follow-up from my surgeon, Dr. Jason Radecke, infectious disease specialis

I delivered my baby via C-section at HCA Lawnwood Hospital, and I truly can’t say enough good things about my experience. From the moment I arrived, I felt supported, respected, and cared for during one of the most important moments of my life. Sara, the PCT, was absolutely amazing—kind, attentive, and always checking in to make sure I was comfortable and okay. Her compassion made a huge difference during my recovery. Jami, the director, showed genuine care and leadership, making sure everything ran smoothly and that my needs were met. It meant a lot to feel seen and heard at that level. Dr. Coats was exceptional throughout my C-section—professional, calm, and reassuring. He explained everything clearly and helped ease my nerves, which made me feel confident and safe during surgery. Absolutely amazing crew. My wife was welcomed and registered smoothly by Devin, greeted and debriefed for preop by dancing Sandy, because she was literally dancing smiling and singing to the patients from the lobby to their individual rooms. Once in her room she was met with more smiles and prepped by Kayosan and Myrlouse whose smiles warmth and genuine care set my wife at ease for major surgery. Dwain her post op nurse and Andy from anesthesia were awesome as well im her care. They were so kind and gentle throughout the whole process I could literally see her heart rate relax on the monitor. I cannot say enough about the care like family experience we had. AAA+

Ron’Niya, Leticia are amazing Patient Care Technicians. The nurses for my moms stay were absolutely amazing: Xomara, Audley, Mariah, Jen, Cindy, Bretchnia - always always had my mothers care at heart but also checked in on how I was doing. The hematology team really stepped in to get my mother back on track: Dr. My, Amanda Palmer the PA. And above all the support staff Ms. Flo and Shay at the front desk. My mother’s doctors have been amazing with her care - she was touch and go for awhile but Dr. Cordoba, Dr. Eisa and Dr. Bautista really all came together to put the pieces together for her care.
