HCA Florida Lake City Hospital

Literally the worst care ive recieved from a hospital! My wonderful nurse was just talking about me to another nurse and I heard every word, the rooms are dirty, I was left in a bed sitting straight up after having been in a car wreck, ive been here for 4 hours and im still getting excuses as to why im not being discharged!!! Do not come here! Go to gainsville!

I know that there are a lot of negative comments and rumors circulating about this hospital. However the staff on the second floor were beyond amazing. Ariel Sabrina Lashell were just a few of the amazing team that took care of me for a week. Dr. Dominguez is awesome too. The team was quick to communicate to him what I needed or to ask why something was being done. I could not have asked for better staff to look after me for a week. They actually seemed like a family. Thank you guys for all you did for me. You are definitely way above the rest!

Pros: The only reason for the 4 stars was because the Nurses were awesome! High level of care between myself and the other person in the hospital room. Con’s: The emergency room I got sent to was filthy especially the floors, and a bug crawling around the room. ( I spent 6 long hours in there!) When I finally got admitted and sent up to the 2nd floor to stay for 2 days, my wife, daughter, and I wiped the room down with disinfectant wipes since we saw what it looked like in the emergency room. The bathroom floor was dirty and looked like it needed a good cleaning. It seems no one will mop behind the doors when they are in the closed position. The nurses did say they just opened up the room because it wasn’t used in quite some time. Nevertheless Cleanliness should take precedence above al

First up, DISGUSTING. insects on the floor in the triage, blood all over the bedrails and side of bed i was in, trash on floor of nearly every room and hall, probably hasnt been mopped in months. Yall are disgusting. The staff & care at this hospital is a joke. Absolutely unreal that I came in with severe pain, spinal problems and uncontrollable tremors and spasms that disabled me, only to be told I have a sinus infection and given meds and sent home. Incorrect, just a whole body inflammation caused by the disease i have that i informed each person that spoke to me about it. Uneducated and unwilling care. There was no discussion or an introduction from a Dr, just nurses. I came in for help with terrifying symptoms & a level of pain i had not experienced before and yall dropped the damn ba

First experience here for a mammogram. From checking through the X-ray everyone was kind and helpful. Only my second 3D mammogram and was not painful at all. Much better than previous machines. Ashley was very sweet and professional. I will highly recommend the Imaging Center.
