HCA Florida JFK North Hospital

My mom recently had a procedure in Interventional Radiology, and we had a wonderful experience. All of the nurses were kind, attentive, and very professional throughout the entire process. I especially want to recognize her primary nurse, Rami, who went above and beyond to make sure my mom was comfortable and well cared for. He was very personable and made great conversation with us, which we really appreciated. He also took the time to explain everything clearly. This was a really pleasant change to your normal hospital experience. We used it for an outpatient surgery and our nurse Bethesda could not have been any more professional, kind, upbeat and attentive. This hospital has a cozy feel and lacks the usual chaos that exists in many healthcare centers. We were in and out as quick as possible while ensuring optimal care. The nurses made sure even the family members were taken care of by communicating information and even offering warm blankets! Felisa was also so lovely and all of the nurses work together as a team. Would not hesitate to have a surgery here and was worth the trip from out of town.

JFK North is an excellent hospital. The staff is amazing! They truly work together to provide the best care. My husband had surgery. We were concerned, never being there before. This hospital quickly eliminated those concerns once we arrived. Nurses Tina, Maria and Darlene were simply amazing. They gave updates on his condition regularly and explained clearly as to what was happening along the way. Would not hesitate to recommend this hospital.

My family’s experience with the psychiatric team at JFK North medical—specifically Dr. Martinez and his staff—was deeply troubling and unacceptable. The level of dismissiveness, lack of communication, and disregard for my brother’s well‑being was unlike anything I’ve ever seen in a medical setting. I am my brother’s legal POA and the doctor wouldn’t even take the time to speak or listen to me. They became frustrated when I advocated for him. I contacted case management and reached a woman named Nicole who literally mocked me during the call. She too was dismissive and wouldn’t allow me to speak with her about anything. My brother, who has schizophrenia, was prescribed **dementia medication** Nemenda despite having **no history or diagnosis of dementia!! The doctors tried to justify this p

My grandmother and I had an amazing experience at JFK North campus. The entire staff was incredible, wonderful nurses and doctors but the highlight of our visit was their x-ray team. Dana was very sweet when introducing herself and Steven. Steven was more hands on and he was absolutely wonderful while helping my grandmother. She has started to develop early onset dementia and she was also in a great deal of pain but Steven was gentle, patient, and treated her the way you’d want someone to treat their own grandmother and it meant alot to both of us. Our family is so grateful for the care and kindness we were shown by the entire staff, they were quick, and made it a great experience.
