My mother spent just over a year at Haymount. She initially went there for rehab for a broken leg. But she had dementia/alzheimers and by that point, she had lost her ability to walk so I couldn’t take care of her anymore so we made the hard decision to transfer her to the nursing home part. My mother was a nurse for 40 years and spent her entire career working in nursing homes so I heard all the horror stories growing up, so I was a little nervous at first. Let me just say now, I am SO glad I was able to get her in this one. They took amazing care of her and me as I was the one going to see her every day. All of the staff was so amazing with her. My mother was in Haymount Rehabilitation short term stay after a fall with a fractured arm. Her stay and our experience from Day 1 to Discharge Day was streamlined with professionalism, compassion and respect.from Receptionist,, CNA's, Nurses, Doctors, Physical/Occupational Therapist, Nutritionist, and Administrators. One of the hardest things to encounter is having your love in a facility. My husband spent 15 VA respite days at Haymount. I was impressed by the director of admissions and other staff members. The staff kept me informed of his care. My husband really enjoyed his stay and when it's time for long term Haymount will be my first choice.

I moved here an January and began working at Haymount as an occupational therapy assistant. I am so thrilled to have such an amazing team. Effective communication between therapy, nursing, house keeping, kitchen and laundry. It is a wonderful positive environment to work in. I love coming to work to help my patients every day and the facility is so clean and beautiful! We support each other in all that we do. Highly recommend for your loved ones rehab or permanent stay.
