Tomorrow will be 7 weeks since I called to make an appointment with the orthopedic surgery department. There was no answer so I left a message, like the receptionist told me to do since they've been really busy, with my name, reason for my call and my callback number. 7 weeks later, I still have not received a call back. 3 days after I didn't get a call back, I called sioux center hospital. They sent me to sioux falls a few days later and since then, I have been going to Sioux center for all my procedures that I could have been doing a few blocks from home. 🤷‍♀️ this is the 2nd time in the last 3 years I have called and not gotten a call back, was admitted to HRH when I should have been sent by ambulance to sf, which i later was after 2 nurses and 1 PA voiced their concerns. Honestly, I used to come here as a child. It wasn’t bad, I had my complaints but it was not terrible. I moved to spencer and had a WONDERFUL doctor. Unfortunately now, while having a child of my own, I cannot just pack her up and go to spencer whenever she’s sick. So obviously, I chose to go here. Each time, 3 to be exact- 2 in the clinic and one in the urgent care side, my experience for not only myself as a parent but for my daughter have been absolutely terrible. There is no sense of patient care, no patience for scared 3 year olds, no patience for moms who’s child woke up with a temp of 103.5. I understand being short staffed and busy, I’ve worked the healthcare scene before, however patient care should not go out the window because you’re having an off day. Reevaluate how you greet pa

They are always ready to help, I’ve been in Er serval times this past month and never disappointed in the care I have received from them! All very caring concerned professional.
