Harrisonburg Family Dentistry

Adequate? Everyone was friendly. The dentist did an okay but not terribly thorough job of cleaning my teeth. The hygienist seemed new and had trouble with the polisher. I had to stop her flossing because she was just slamming it in and out and mangling my gums. This place is convenient to my house but I will probably try somewhere else next time.

I was just informed by the lady who answered the phone that the practice will not longer see my grandson. Their rational to hold things against an 8yo is that I had to cancel too many appointments. He has Sentara for insurance and since, at 74, I no longer drive after dark, I had relied on the transportation offered by Sentara. Unfortunately, they relied on Uber and like services, to transport patients and when the driver shows up after the time the appointment is scheduled to begin, the fact that I'd been informing the office every step of the way as to why we'd be late or had to cancel made no difference to the office. Very Unprofessional: The lady who answered the phone kept me on hold for 8 min, and than 12.5 min. She argued with me and the manager as well, and all I wanted to do was to make an appointment for my child since they cancelled hers. Very displeased and I will be reporting them..

Tried to reschedule my daughter’s appointment because she is running a fever. I’ve rescheduled to many times so I will no longer get an appointment. BUT they don’t want you to come in sick/tempature. But I can’t rescheduled due to that very reason! Unprofessional. They are rude!

This was my first visit to Harrisonburg Family Dentistry, and I really could not ask for better. They were so efficient and accommodating, and even took me ahead of schedule! Dr. Botros shared his observations and perspectives, laying out options I could pursue but did not pressure me in any particular direction. Everyone was very friendly, I'll be back!
