Ive used summit medical group for over a decade for different specialists but i went to the cariologist office in montclair 1st time late 2025 and saw Dr Difilippo (who has since passed). He was very nice however, i feel the practice as a whole is not thoroughly informing their patients of potential costs. They bill you for every little thing, even for "consults" to review results, that were never done by the doctor in my case, and beware of heart monitor fees because the cost is ridiculous!! Granted its not them charging you, however they should give you more info on potential fees so you can make an informed consent. Dr. Kim is very kind, nonjudgemental, and thorough with his explanations. He never rushes your appointment, he takes his time to answer all questions and makes sure you’re comfortable. I really enjoyed my visits with him and will be recommending him to anyone who may need a cardiologist. I had a very positive experience visiting him.

Strongly recommend Dr. Kim. Excellent bedside manner, explains everything to you in an easily understood fashion and is very thorough. Office staff is pleasant, blood and echo techs (in office) were very professional and personable. Parking on site, which is unusual for Montclair.
