Harborview Lumberton

My stepdad spent some time there. Very well taken care of while there and staff went above and beyond to make him as comfortable as possible.

Almost 2 weeks before I heard from the physical therapist about my dad. My dad had also went in with a phone charger and pair of glasses that he now no longer has and no one concerned enough to try to find them. Ants on the floor for over an hour while I was visiting. Was told multiple times someone is coming to take care of that only for no one to show up. When I called in for an update I was sent to the nurses station to which I’d either get an answering machine or the call would just drop. (No call back). The facility has the worst communication of any of its kind. It’s embarrassing. It was only after I raised hell before I ever got to talk to anyone. Please avoid this place for your loved ones.

My mom has been there twice over the last few years. She is now on the memory ward for long term care. The refresh that has been "in progress" is nice to see! I enjoy the staff and find that if I interact nicely, they do as well. As with all places, there can be a few bad apples. I do receive regular calls and updates. I visit often. It is a piece of mind that I did not have with her living at home.

My mother is in memory care and this is one of only three places in Lumberton for her needs. I would say after visiting the other facilities in Lumberton (for memory care only) this is the best place of the three! The outside could be painted to give it an updated look, but it is clean on the inside. Most of the staff are friendly and helpful with about a 1% that are not. I am so happy we found this place and grateful for all that goes into taking care of the elderly and sick.

Very pleased with the facility from the admission to the discharge. Everyone there was very pleasant to my dad and family. He said the food was good. The staff was great his entire stay, they were compassionate, caring and easy to communicate with. The facility was very welcoming and I was comfortable with the care my dad received. I would highly recommend this facility.
