Terrible dentist, he did not even give me a basic cleaning when I went. I visibly have a cavity, the X-rays even show that, and he told me it is tartar. Still no cleaning whatsoever. I have a 6 month old and it is extremely hard to take this time to go to dentist and he completely wasted my time.

This was my 1st visit, I had and emergency and Dr Hu and her staff were very gracious and welcoming upon my arrival. I was please to have set up this ER visit online the night before. And her services where impeccable. She is the best dentist I have ever visited. She asked me what was my concerns with my teeth prior to my exam. If your looking for a dentist she is definitely one you should go to. Herself and staff allows you to feel at home and she was very concerned & personal with the care she had given me. Most of my experiences at dental offices scared the crap outta me and I never return to any of them. Thats why I have yuck mouth now and need a lot of work. 1. Dr Hu did a cleaning on my teeth. Was it really supposed to be done in its complete totality in less than 4 minutes😳 2. I had an appointment scheduled for a Saturday morning. Took off from work to get cavity filled.... Upon going to the office to get the work, it was discovered that the office was not even opened!!! No one from the office bothered to call me to cancel or reschedule. 3. Not sure how the name “Happy Dental” came to be... the dental hygienist that provided care on me was very stoic and anything but happy. The name is just an illusion. ***Please don’t waste your time. My experiences were very disappointing. Please reconsider!!

There is a series of things I was not satisfied with : 1) Dr Hu suggested I get a root canal for a tooth that was filled in and still hurting. This judgement was passed complete analysis. I was skeptical and saw a different dentist for an opinion. Complete detailed scans suggested it was gum inflammation and nothing to do with the tooth as such. It saved me a root canal! 2) My teeth were cleaned in less than 5 minutes. I was not satisfied and of course when the other dentist checked on me, she mentioned that it appeared my teeth had not been cleaned at all. 3) I requested the facility to mail my x-rays to the new dentist since they were more reliable and of course I didn't talk to take x-rays every few weeks. When you see HappyCare Dental situated off of a somewhat industrial road in the Linwood area, it looks unassuming and almost pastoral. I have passed it hundreds of times in the past two years since living in the area. It's a quaint building, a residential property. I went in today after making a SAME DAY APPOINTMENT, which is unheard of. I arrived half an hour early and the inside is so quaint and cozy. You don't feel like you're in a waiting room, you almost feel like you're on someone's enclosed country porch. I filled out my paperwork, and I was taken back to the dental chair RIGHT ON TIME. No waiting, no wondering. The hygienist was incredibly sweet and polite (the receptionist too), took all my info and was very considerate and understanding taking my x-rays which of course are so u
