Hannaford Pharmacy

Terrible Parmacy. Terrible Service! My doctor called in the prescription on a Sunday. On Monday at 9:30 am I called Hannaford Parmacy in Jay Maine to ask about my prescription. They said it would be ready at 1pm. At 1pm, no call no nothing. I call at 1:30pm and they said my prescription is ready. I drive all the way to Hannoford Pharmacy and they only have 2 antibiotic pills out of 20 I need. Then they spilled my other medicine which was liquid because they didn't tighten down the cap. They said they couldn't promise the rest of my antibiotics would be there the next day. Unbelievable! Then they couldn't get my Anthem Insurance to work which i just used at urgent care the day before. Finally completely frustrated I asked Hannaford Parmacy in Jay if they could just transfer the prescription

Technicians and Pharmacists treat you like a person not just a customer.

Usually the pharmacy staff is incredibly polite and helpful. Tonight I called about a new prescription. A woman I haven’t dealt with before was very rude sounding and laughed it off. She said “yeah we don’t have that” I asked if they could order what I needed and she said nope that I would need to call around and find it myself. Which is fine but she was very curt and clearly annoyed to be handling my call. I hope they train her to be more like the regular staff or she finds a job more suited to her abilities.

Last night a younger woman was very unhelpful. Told me my prescription couldn't be filled yet. Didnt offer to help figure it out at all blew me off. I went back and a man who was very helpful figured out the problem.. called my insurance and fixed the issue and I was able to leave with my much needed antibiotics!! They should can the young woman she gave horrible customers service and not at all what a pharmacist should be. The man was exemplary.

They are over priced junk I've gone to a food bank and got better quality food than they sell. their food is over priced an old products; they don't have a good selection of products and produce as well as being 4 times more expensive than other places like Hannafords lewiston maine and other stores ive shoped at. I also noticed when u buy products each month within a month or two they jack up the prices extremely high i feel they should be shut down due to their quality standards not being met an prices its sad it in the country it should have the best product fresh an cheap not Alaskan prices its ridiculous I wouldn't shop there but I don't have a choice it the closest store in walking distance due to no vehicle. don't waste ur time shopping there its high prices and low quality food an
