Hannaford Pharmacy

Terrible customer service. Slow to fill scripts and always have to wait. Called to ask if they had a generic in stock and told “yes, plenty”. Picked up med and was charged over $200 for brand b/c according to the pharmacist , this was all they had in stock.

My wife stopped to pick up a script that they texted me was ready. She was told at first what she was picking up was already picked up. Wrong! After telling the pharmacist what it was, she was told that it was short by one 10-day sensor and could she wait? No, she had to be somewhere else and we live 45 minutes away. Then she said that it would be made up in the next script. No, we're changing insurance on January 1st. The result is I'm short one sensor that won't be made up and that Martins Point will probably be charged for anyway. They have never gotten one particular script right, trying to charge me over $200 for something I have never paid a copay for. after many years of using Hannafords Pharmacy, I am now going to look to change. Most of the time, I put my order in and most of the time they're not ready. I give two or three days notice and Time Time after time, they fail me and meds are still not ready Sometimes I feel it's philosophy to keep people in that store versus serving the Pharmacy customer. I will be leaving Hannafords Pharmacy.

Lovely, helpful people. they couldn't get my insurance approved, though. I know that's not their fault, but just in case it's happening for anybody else

Most incompetent and awful people and pharmacy EVER. Seriously the worst. They have zero communication skills and are constantly providing misinformation and being late on extremely urgent medications. I get a call being told something is ready for pickup and then when I show up, they tell me it hasn’t actually been filled. I always submit my refill requests with a few days of overlap just to ensure I don’t run out and this pharmacy is ALWAYS LATE. The employees were even laughing and joking that they should stop telling customers things will be ready in X amount of minutes and just say “a really long time” instead. Also, online their hours are listed as “8am-8pm” however they close the entire pharmacy at 2pm for lunch which is not noted anywhere online until you show up and everyone’s go
