Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa

I walked in here to ask a question about gift cards one time and then left. I didn't have a service or anything. I go and check my bank statements and someone at this location CHARGED MY CARD for a gift card. INSANE!!! It took them a while to refund me and I asked for the manager or owner to call me to discuss and nobody ever did. Whoever runs this place doesn't seem to be trustworthy, so I recommend people go to any other location but this one.

I’ve been to hand & stone for a long long time now . And never disappointed . Recently I feel like I paid for a $130 massage and was not happy , this is the first complaint I’ve ever made here. I didn’t want to make a complaint because I truly enjoy coming here and I don’t want it to start feeling awkward or uncomfortable when I return so I’ll just be anonymous. I received a massage and it was not a full body massage which is NOT what I wanted. I let the masseuse know what areas I wanted more focus on but that I wanted the full body massage. There was even a point where I felt the masseuse was falling asleep while massaging me it was quite odd and uncomfortable. Today I had a profoundly disappointing experience at Hand And Stone, one that I hope will inspire positive change. My appointment was scheduled for 5:45, and I have confirmation of the booking, yet upon arrival, I was informed that they couldn't find my appointment in their schedule. Having paid $15 for transportation to get here and facing an additional $18 to return home, I was dismayed to learn that the only resolution offered was rebooking for another day, despite having already paid. It's not the first time an issue like this has occurred, and I hope that by sharing my experience, it will encourage improvements in their scheduling system and customer service. I discovered Hand & Stone through Groupon, and purchesed a nearly 200 dollar voucher for a couple's massage for my parents. When they called, they not only did not honor the purchase, they had no customer hospitality services to offer my parents in the form of a refund, voucher, or coupon. While Groupon may be a third party, it is the company's responsibility to ensure their policies are up to date, and their image is not being used in a context they know would damage their brand. Completely disgraceful for a service that could have been relaxing and given this business a chance for 2 more loyal customers.

Amazing massage experience with David. AMAZING. I have only ever had two massage therapists in my life that I feel like have “a gift” to feel where pain is and heal it, he is one of them.
