I had an absolutely amazing experience at Hammond Dental! From the moment I walked in, the entire team went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and cared for. The staff is warm, professional, and truly attentive. My procedure was handled with exceptional skill, and the results exceeded my expectations. It's rare to find a place where you feel genuinely valued as a patient, but this office delivers that and more. I'm so grateful for their outstanding service and highly recommend them to anyone looking for top-tier dental care.

I had a terrible experience. I am sharing my experience to make others aware of the retaliation mindset the staff has. I made an appointment over a month ago. The day of the appointment a scheduler calls me 1 hour and advise the dentist reviewed my charts and recommends a full exam. I agreed. Not long after I pulled into the parking lot the scheduler calls me back and cancel my appointment. Her first words,” the dentist reviewed your charts”. The dentist had over a month and a few hours before hand to look at my chart. This office waited until I arrived to cancel my appointment. They didn’t care about my career and the fact that I had to request time off work to be there. That is a retaliation mindset. For 2026, I was changing from a dental office that I no longer had confidence in. My selection of Hammond Dental Sandy Springs was initially based on their location and the positive experiences by others, as well as the qualifications background of Dr Norris. Today at my first appointment, I was more than impressed. Very professional entrance/greeting; attended to within 5 minutes of my appointment time; greeted by Jessica who introduced their practice with a concise overview & conducted an efficient x-ray session. Then Dr Norris attended to me BEFORE anyone else to discuss her review of my x-rays and appraisal of my dental health (generally good for my age, with concerns to be monitored). Hands down the best dental practice I’ve ever encountered, and I’m very grateful to my orthodontist for the recommendation to Hammond Dental. Easy scheduling, promptly seen, and Nathan’s cleanings are top tier. He talks through each step of the cleaning process before starting and also shares great education on how and why day to day care is so important to keeping teeth and gums healthy. Apparently, I’ve been flossing incorrectly for the majority of my life, but I’ve had smooth visits the last couple of years after learning good flossing technique from the best. I don’t mind the almost 40 minute commute to be seen here and it will continue to be my go-to for dental care.

I came in to Hammond Dental for a root canal and was a bit anxious at first. The team reassured me that I could let them know at any point if I felt uncomfortable, which really helped. When I started to feel some discomfort a second time, I was worried they might get frustrated — but they didn’t at all. They took the time to review my notes and make sure I was numb before continuing. They were very patient, kind, and understanding. Such nice ladies — I really appreciated their care and professionalism!
