Hackensack Meridian Urgent Care - Brick

Today was my first-ever visit to an urgent care facility, and I am so glad I was referred to this one by my GP. First, Angela has to be the friendliest, most personable and efficient front-desk person I've come across in quite some time. After filling out required papework, I don't think I waited more than 10 minutes before being called. I initially requested to see the M.D. that was onsite, but the N.P., Susan, came in to introduce herself, and asked if I'd mind working with her so I wouldn't have to wait any longer for the doctor. Once I learned about her many decades as an N.P., I felt assured I'd be well taken care of. And I was. Thoroughly. Her diagnosis was spot-on, and the prescriptions requested were waiting for me when I got to my pharmacy. All in all, a very good first-time expe

I had my first visit there on Tuesday and found everyone to be kind and thorough. I feel I got much better care from here than my previous Urgent Care Center and I will continue to go there.

I used to work in a hospital so when I say that this urgent care is really good, take me seriously. Not only is this my urgent care, my primary physician needs are met here as well. Danielle, one of the most considerate, efficient and downright nice front desk staff members really knows her stuff. Should you happen to be helped by Dawn who took my history and vitals, you will find a thorough and kind care provider. The office manager, Joe, is top notch and I would be remiss if I did not mention the incomparable, Tia, an in-house phlebotomist who can even get blood out of my baby veins. I am glad this place exists because it is tied to Hackensack hospital which is top notch. THESE WONDERFUL PEOPLE DESERVE RAISES!!!!!

This was the WORST place for any type of medical care. My job sent me thrre for a work related injury. I had an email of the contract my company has with them. As soon as I walk up to window, the med receptionist said " u have to go to the toms river office " we dont have a contract with your company. After I showed them they were WRONG, she then says oh well we close in 10 min. They basically shoo'd me away like a stray dog bc they didn't want to have to work a little longer. I work in Healthcare myself, SHAME OM THEM.

while speaking with the doctor, she mentioned that my chart said i took a medication i had never been prescribed. i told her this, and she argued with me and said i must have taken at some point for it to end up in the chart. at the end of the visit she gave me a work note with the incorrect name and date of birth. she had been looking at the wrong patients chart the whole time and never verified my identity. very unprofessional.
