Gynecology and Obstetrics Associates of Tallahassee

Came in for a New Patient appt as an ED follow up. I asked if they took my insurance a month prior, which I was told yes. Once I came it, I was told that I would be self pay due to my payer plan. Emotionally overwhelmed by the idea that I’ve put time off for my care. Being a person who works in healthcare, I would have not scheduled this appointment if they were not contracted with my health insurance. New patient self pay is over $200. Sadly, I can’t afford it. It has created an emotional and financial issue for me to be seen of her concern that I needed address addressed. Please do not schedule if you have Florida Blue. They do not take it.

I had one pregnancy appointment at this office and felt uncomfortable with my provider, Jana Bures-Forsthoefel. I felt prejudged and disrespected due to inappropriate and judgmental comments made about my child’s father. My appointment was rushed, communication was poor, and my lab results were delayed for weeks despite being completed. I was drug tested without my knowledge while some standard prenatal tests were not done at all. When I asked for explanations, I was dismissed and told to go elsewhere. I felt unheard, disrespected, and treated unfairly, and I would not recommend this provider.

This was my first time going to this OB/GYN, and my experience was excellent. Everyone was so nice and helpful. Dr. Jana Bures-Forsthoefel is amazing, cool, fun, and very professional. She made me feel welcome and comfortable throughout my visit. I definitely recommend this location.

Worst experience ever with a healthcare provider. The nurse was great but the doctor (Dr. Jana Bures-Forsthoefel) was the worst provider I have ever seen. I was there for a total of 2 hours for a simple appointment and spent the majority of it in the room waiting - when i wasn't waiting Dr. Forsthoefel was extremely rushed, made multiple inappropriate jokes and comments, showed no compassion or professionalism. the entire experience felt violating. and after reading these reviews I have no clue how she still has a license to practice.

Was preferred to go here to have Kelly F. as my OB… But sadly couldn’t even get past the representatives over the phone. They are unprofessional, leave you on hold right when you call, then send you to voicemail, hang up on you mid conversation and don’t attempt to call back. I attempted to contact them about 8 times in one day for about 3 hours of my day and still was not able to communicate with anyone to make an appointment. How am I supposed to be seen for care if I can’t even get in contact ??!!! Don’t even attempt to reach out to them for anything, your time will be wasted!
