Gurnick Academy - San Jose Campus

I am currently enrolled in the LVN program at the Concord Campus, I’m in Mod 4, VN100. Last module we were informed we would not receive our own graduation, when upon enrollment we were promised our own. Then we were told our graduation would be on May 17. Then we are told it might be in early August. Now we hear it might be in OCTOBER!!! This school made over 1 million dollars on my cohort alone and can’t give us our own graduation? This is absolutely ridiculous and this school does not care about their students nor do they care about the staff’s concerns for their students. Do not attend this school!

I applied to the san jose campus for cardiac sonographer a few months ago and at first had a good experience with my admission advisor. I took the tour, completed and passed the entrance exam and paid the 100 dollar fee. I was told interviews would be conducted after the deadline of Nov. I waited and waited and heard nothing. I reached out to admission for at least a some guidance as to when I should hear something and was told by Dec. 15th they will have made their decision. That tike came and went and I was not accepted. I reached out to admission and asked why and they mention focus on the point system. What I dont understand is that I have an associates degree, was a licensed phlebotomist with experience managing a plasma facility and was told I still didnt qualify for the program. Wha

During my time in the LVN program at Gurnick, I faced many challenges, especially as an older student with a perspective that sometimes differed from my younger cohorts. Although the journey was not easy, the kindness, motivation, and consistent support from my instructors made a tremendous difference. Their encouragement helped me stay focused and continue pursuing my goals, even during difficult times. I am also deeply grateful for the caring and supportive classmates who stood by me throughout this experience. Their compassion and teamwork helped me regain confidence and believe in myself again. This program has not only strengthened my professional skills but also reminded me of the power of support, perseverance, and mutual respect.

Applying to Gurnick Academy was not a good idea. The only part of the process that I can honestly say was positive was the campus tour. After that, everything became unnecessarily frustrating and discouraging. I followed every required step carefully: submitting the application, taking the CCAT exam, paying the $100 application fee, sending my transcripts, and completing the FAFSA. I wanted to make sure I was doing everything right. However, the admissions process turned into a nightmare. The first MRI admission advisor I had been in contact with quit without my knowledge, leaving me confused and unsure of who to reach out to. Eventually, I spoke with the second MRI advisor, who did help me a little bit, but even after completing all the forms, I was never given the opportunity for an int

!!!SCAM!!! NOT BBB ACCREDITED - SEVERAL COMPLAINTS IN THE PAST YEARS THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND GO GHOST READ REVIEWS BEFORE YOU GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY. They are persistent with follow up during the application process & as soon as they get your money they go ghost. Submitted an application, submitted fasfa application, submitted high school transcript & passed the application test 4 MONTHS AGO. Followed up with calls & email every Monday, Tuesday and Friday or 4 Months and heard NOTHING. SCREENSHOTS TO PROVE THEY STEAL YOUR MONEY AND THEY WASTED 4 MONTHS OF MY LIFE WHILE I COULD HAVE BEEN PURSUING LEGITIMATE COURSES.
