Gulfcoast Eye Care, Thanh Nguyen, OD

When I first came to Gulfcoast Eye I had real issues and ALL of them have been successfully resolved by Dr. Thanh Nguyen and his great team. I am a MOST grateful and appreciative patient.

I have no complaints at all. Staff was really friendly. Dr Nguyen is thorough and accurate in his diagnosis. He will converse with you and give you the best option for treatment. Christine was really friendly and patient while I was trying several glasses. She fixed my broken one while I am waiting for my new order. I really recommend GulfCoast eye care in St Pete. I also recommended VSP Insurance.

Staff was very professional and knowledgeable and Dr. Nguyen always answers my questions and explains what he found during my eye exam. I have never been disappointed in my choice to go and remain as a patient with Gulfcoast Eye Care. Thank you for the great care.

Not really happy with the service here. The people are kind, so that’s not the issue. But my experience overall was pretty frustrating. No one in any office ever picks up my call. I’m always redirected to an answering service. And I was told they return calls within the day which also never happens for me. I once left 2 voicemails in an attempt to cancel my husband’s appointment and instead they canceled both of ours in some miscommunication mishap. Then for those of you who prefer to keep during COVID and prefer your medical care staff to wear masks, this group wasn’t too great about that either. With the door closed in a small room, just myself and one tech, this person felt the need to remove their mask to speak to me. Also asked me to removed my own mask while checking my vision, which

The first set of prescription glasses they made for me turned out not to be the correct one. The staff there bent over backwards to make sure I had the correct prescription. The new glasses are working fine.
