Growing Smiles of Mount Laurel

Taking my autistic son to the dentist can be very stressful because of his anxiety and sensory sensitivities. At first he was extremely nervous, but his dentist, Dr. Bo Jung, was absolutely amazing. He was patient, understanding, and took the time to make my son feel comfortable. Six months ago we discussed a plan of care to help prepare my son for his visit, and Dr. Jung came in today fully prepared and ready to support him. Having that plan in place made such a difference. The care my son received was safe, compassionate, and thoughtful. I’m truly grateful for Dr. Bo Jung, who understands children with special needs and takes the time to provide them with the support they need. It means more than I can say.

I recently took my 89-year-old mother to growing smiles. I thought it was just for pediatrics, but it’s also for adults. There are the most friendly and warmest staff of any dentist we’ve ever been to special compliments to first one I spoke to on the phone with Barbie, the manager, two young ladies at the front desk, Cierra and Aigner, they were knowledgeable, professional, and very helpful as well as Dr. Burke, the dentist. She was very professional and caring about my mother’s and my own concerns. I can’t rate this place highly enough, whether you have a child or an adult.

My children had an absolutely wonderful experience. The staff was incredibly kind, patient, and welcoming they truly made us feel at home. Any nerves my girls had completely disappeared thanks to how gentle, reassuring, and attentive the staff was. I especially love the coin reward system they have in place. It’s such a thoughtful and creative way to encourage kids to brush, floss, and feel confident about visiting the dentist. It turns what can be a scary experience into something fun. I do wish I could remember the names of everyone who interacted with my children and myself so I could give them the recognition they truly deserve. The staff and hygienists are genuinely friendly and kind — that’s the one positive I can give. Unfortunately, everything else was a major disappointment. I waited **90 minutes past my scheduled appointment time** before being seen. The equipment looks like it hasn’t been updated in 20+ years — old chairs, outdated X-ray machines, and an overall tired facility. Most concerning were the lax hygiene protocols. I mean duck tape on a X-ray machine will sum the story

Professional, kind and very well-run practice. So glad I found them! They have a super fun play area for young children. It’s a busy practice, but they have plenty of staff at the front desk who work well together. When you call to make or change an appointment or ask questions, you can be sure you will get someone competent and caring. If you have to return for a cavity to be filled or something else, at checkout they hand you a detailed spec sheet of your teeth and the work to be done, and the costs. I wish all practices could be like this one. Great job everyone!!
