Growing Child Pediatrics at Clayton

Growing Child has been my child’s primary care provider since birth, but after today, I’ve decided it’s time to move on. Unfortunately, our experience here has been consistently negative from the front desk staff to the doctors. The front desk receptionists are bland and robotic. Not welcoming at all when you walk in. Our first assigned doctor was consistently late and dismissive during our initial appointments. On the second visit, we waited two hours before being informed she wouldn’t be coming at all, a different doctor had to step in last minute. I hadn’t checked the reviews before, but after reading them today, I realize my experience aligns with many others. We have been coming here for the past 3 years. We take both of our toddlers here. We love Dr. Jacobson, he's the best! All other staff members we have encountered have been pleasant and helpful.

My daughter has been going here since she was born Feb 2024. They have always been great! We usually see Dr. Jacobson but occasionally when she has needed last minute appointments we have seen Dr. Mac. Both have been great!

This place is garbage. You can leave 1000 messages & they still won't call you back. I tried to make an appointment for my son & we ended up at urgent care. Fast forward.. I left a message a week & a half ago, still no call back. They claim they'll call you back within 2 business days. Don't hold your breath.

My kids have been patients here since they were babies. My oldest (twins) are 20- so a long time! Dr. Wilson has been taking care of my sons here for quite some time and she is great. Just saw her today and she made sure to answer our questions, print out all the reference materials and she went over the instructions with us before giving us all the paperwork. She took time to make sure we understood everything and she was very thorough. I really appreciate that. Also, the front desk staff (especially Sonya) is so kind and helpful whenever I have questions or need help. After all this time, they’re probably tired of seeing me…lol. Sonya has been so kind and always happy to help me, over the years.
