Groton Dental Group

This is a review of the Groton office, not the Williamantic office. I started bringing my daughter to this practice several years ago on the recommendation of my dentist, because my daughter is autistic and I was struggling to find a practice that was skilled and compassionate enough to work with neurodivergent children. The practice was founded by a mother who had an autistic son and experienced the same struggles with finding care. The level of care was amazing, and the hygienist we were scheduled with, Erika, was patient and kind. The office is about an hour away from my home, but I happily made that drive because I finally found a place that was actually making great strides in my daughter's dental care. My husband and I had gone to this office for years and saw Dr Flanagan. He was amazing! After the practice was sold we stayed with them until retiring and moving to Georgia. Now trying to get records is a nightmare. Rude receptionists on the phone, hang ups when "being transferred", no response to fax requests from current provider. My husband has hardware for his dentures and I have implant hardware. All we are asking for is the kind/make of the hardware so we don't have to pay to have it removed and totally new hardware inplanted, at a substantially higher cost. If you move from this practice, make sure to get your records if you're going to need them in the future before you go. 3 weeks later and I still cannot get dental records sent. I'm told that the records are "paper records" yet

Very nice people, short waiting time Britney my hygienist was fabulous, she made my aware of my dental condition and with her my fear disappeared Doctor Iype was the kindest and I really understood the process she was planning to resolve my dental probems I could see clearly on the screen what was going on. Good experience, indeed

My experience was good. I waited 10 minutes to be called in, but my Hygienist, Suzanne, was great. She was attentive, friendly, thorough and caring. I was also seen by one of their Dentist who confirmed everything she had already told me. I recommend the Groton Dental Group!

Very short wait time to see hygienist for cleaning appointment. Procedure went great and hygienist explained problem areas. She mentioned that regular flossing and water picking would promote tooth health. Overall experience was great. See you in six months.
