Greene Acres Rehabilitation and Nursing

My neighbor has been to this facility 2 times now for at home fall. He was fully recovered and now living alone at home and doing well. His stated therapy at Greene Acres was very hard work but got him to where he needed to be and was home in less than 20 days and was taught how to manage being at home where his wishes to stay. He stated if he had to go back he would always choose Greene Acres

I recently visited Greene Acres Rehabilitation and Nursing and was very impressed. The facility was clean, odor-free, and welcoming, and the staff were attentive and genuinely kind—many residents seemed relaxed and happy during my visit.

My mom was at Greene Acres for rehab and the therapy team was excellent. She enjoyed her stay while at the facility, especially the activities and the friends that she made.

Having visited several SNFs in the area, I'm genuinely impressed by the lack of odor when you walk into the building and down the hallways. It's interesting when you ask about this facility and people say, "oh, it's a little country and woodsy." as though that's meant to be a degradation of some type. What I interpret that as is that it has a cozy feeling and staff and residents actually interact with eachother more than just, "Okay, mr....X? It's time for your....Tylenol?"

Our Mother went in for rehab 10/23, therapy was excellent. She stayed for 1 month on Medicare & 3 more months until her insurance ran out. Don't let parking lot & decor deceive you. ALL staff members were friendly, attentive & able to judge her moods. At 87yrs with dementia she gets confused easily. We made it a point to be there at some time on every shift & meals. Staff knew her likes & dislikes, which showed me that they were listening to her. Can't say enough good about the care she received. Thank you all. Evelyn Shifflett's family
